OUR Vision

The Opened Heavens Gospel Mandate and Chapel is Appointed, Anointed and Authorised by the Blessed Holy Spirit to bring the atmosphere of Heaven to this generation for salvation, healing miracles and diverse signs and wonders. We are divinely authorised to take the manifest presence of God to this dying world and to demonstrate the character of the Holy Spirit (Acts 7:56; Lk. 3:21; Matt. 3:16-17; Rev. 19:11; Eph. 1:3; Mark 1:10; Gal. 5:22; 1Cor. 12:8-11).

To dethrone the rulers of darkness and the prince of the power of the air and stay the heavens opened over individuals, cities and nations for their salvation (Acts 27:6; 2cor 4:4; Eph 2:1-2; Eph 6:12).

OUR MISSION

To raise a generation of men, women and young persons who will come into their inheritance to fulfil God’s dream.

To raise a generation of people that can openly display the raw power of God.

A deep passion to see the Gospel in life as it is in print.

Ours is a ministry of the Holy Spirit in mighty signs and wonders after the order of Act 5:12-14

To bring out depths from the Word to release the healing and miracle working power of the Holy Spirit  to this dying and blind generation.

To stay the heavens opened continually through active communion of the Holy Spirit by proactive and demonstrative worship and praise and passionate prayer.

To release the treasures loaded in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus in the earthly places through the Spirit and Word emphasised teaching and preaching (Eph. 1:3; 2cor. 3:18; 2cor 3:17).

Our Purpose

To bring them into their inheritance in Christ Jesus.

To showcase the Lord Jesus Christ through active and consistent Fellowship with the Holy Spirit

To Glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, through dynamic partnership with the Holy Spirit

Our Beliefs

1.   THE HOLY BIBLE.

We do believe that the holy Bible is a direct inspiration of the Holy Spirit; that the Bible is absolutely infallible in its declarations, all-sufficient and comprehensive in its provisions, and final in its authority (2 Pet. 1:2; 2 Timothy 3:16).

2.   ONE TRUE GOD

We firmly believe in the eternal existence of one true living God, who is the maker of the entire universe. We believe God is indefinable, but revealed as the Trinity- Father, Son and Holy Spirit- but one in nature (Gen.1:1; 1John 5:7).

3.   MAN’S FALLEN NATURE

We believe that all have sinned and hence have come short of the glory of God, and are subject to eternal punishment, and the need for repentance and regeneration ( Rom. 3:23, Gen. 3:1-19; Acts 2:38).

4.   THE SAVIOUR

We  firmly believe  that man’s only need of a Saviour has been met in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ by virtue of His virgin birth, death, resurrection and ascension; His abiding intercession and second coming as clearly depicted in the Holy Scriptures. (Jn. 8:46; 2 Cor. 5:19; Rom. 3:25; Phil. 2:9-11; 1 Thess. 4:16-17; Rev. 22:20).

5.   REPENTANCE/JUSTIFICATION/SANCTIFICATION

We wholly believe that all persons have to repent, confess their sin before God and heartily believe in the sacrificial death of Christ Jesus in order to be justified before God. We also believe in the sanctification of the believer through the working of the Holy Spirit. (Rom. 5:16; 1 Cor. 1:30; Lk. 15:7; 1 Thess. 4:3).

6.   BAPTISM, GIFTS AND FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe firmly in the baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers with signs following; the operation of the gifts and manifestation of the Holy Spirit in their lives (Gal. 5:22; Mk. 16:17; 1 Cor. 12:1-31, Act. 2:4)

7.   THE SACRAMENTS OF THE HOLY  COMMUNION  AND BAPTISMS

We believe in the sacrament of baptism by immersion on the clear testimony of a new convert who has attained a responsible age (Lk. 3:21; Mk. 16:16). Infants below acceptable responsible age and children are not baptised but are dedicated to the Lord (Mk. 10:16; Lk. 2:22-24, 34). We believe in the sacrament of the Holy Communion which should be taken in line with scriptural prescription. (Matt. 26:21-29; Lk. 22:19-20; Act 20:7)

8.    TITHES AND OFFERING

We believe that the Bible explicitly teaches the believer to joyfully tithe on their earnings unto the Lord and free will offerings targeted at Kingdom promotion. (Mal. 3:10; Heb. 7:1-4 2 Cor. 8:7).
